Infrared

I was disappointed to learn of Kodak's decision to cease production of HIE High Speed Infrared Film. To me the hit-and-miss properties of the film, both in the camera and in the darkroom, offer something that cannot be successfully reproduced by today's digital cameras.

The colour IR images were produced by processing Ektachrome film in C-41 chemistry. If anyone would like to know how this was done, I would be happy to pass on the recipe.
